Hello! I’m Meg, a Florida native with a speedy New York-style walk, and I’m a full-time digital nomad.
In 2017, I left my executive career in digital marketing and sold my house in Austin, TX so I could travel the globe solo. My trip lasted nearly a year and a half.
I returned home to have surgery, then stayed homebound during the pandemic. I couldn’t wait to travel again!
Now I’m a full-time traveler, working remotely as an Executive Coach and pet/housesitting all over the world.
My goal is to share stories from my experience, make travel more approachable, and inspire others to take the trip you’ve been dreaming about…without having to wait for retirement. Basically, if a germaphobic, middle-aged solo female traveler like me can travel to 5 continents and 32 countries by herself, you can totally do it too.
Travel is the best way to learn more about the world, other cultures and people, and, of course, yourself. Travel makes you push past limitations, gives you freedom, and teaches you how to be more resilient and kind.
I will also share why I decided to travel the world solo; how I planned for it (and sold all my stuff!); what happened when I returned in 2018 (and couldn’t find a job for a year!); and finally, why I’m doing it again, permanently.
I’ve got lots to share so please leave a comment or send me an email if you’re interested in a particular topic or have questions.
In the meantime, settle in, learn some stuff, and enjoy the ride!
